Biggest Storm in a Long Time

So, we move here from California and what do we experience - the biggest storm that Utah has seen in more than a decade. This was the first time all the schools in Tooele were closed, giving all the kids a "Snow Day!" Unbelievable! We were in snow to our knees and it took us a few hours to shovel out the driveway. We are new to the snow so were pretty excited and it was pretty fun for the kids.

The snow hit Tooele the hardest and we loved it! We're supposed to get more snow later in the week, but this will do for a while. Tina is truly becoming a master at shoveling snow, and the kids are starting to grow snow feet — from playing in the snow so much. Saphira loves it too, jumping nose first into the snow whenever she gets a chance to go outside.
